I have worked as a criminal defense attorney since 2007, representing individuals in numerous types of criminal matters. I have represented clients facing charges in matters involving alleged traffic crimes, like DUII and "Hit and Run". I have experience representing individuals facing charges of assault and harassment. I have also assisted clients in matters involving allegations of property crime, such as theft or fraud. I have significant experience representing clients facing felony, Measure 11 charges. For those who are not familiar, Measure 11 is Oregon's mandatory minimum sentencing law which can require courts to impose certain mandatory terms of imprisonment when individuals are convicted of specific types of offenses. I have appeared in criminal courts in Oregon throughout my time in practice handling hearings, motions, and trials. I began my legal career in 2004 as a deputy district attorney prior to transitioning to private practice. My office is located on Main Street in Hillsboro, Oregon, near the Washington County Courthouse. All members of our community are entitled to rights which are set forth in the Constitution. I believe these individual rights must be protected, and I have dedicated my career as a defense attorney to guarding the rights of every client that I represent in court. It is my goal to see that all of my clients are afforded access to Due Process and Equal Protection of the law.
